The FCRM in its capacity as the coordination site of CANTAM-3 Project has among its main missions, to ensure all partners implement the project in accordance with the technical and financial requirements of the sponsor, the European & Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership (EDCTP-2 Program).

It is in this context that Mr. Jolivet MAYELA (CANTAM Project Manager) and Mr. Clem MAKITA (Financial Manager of the Network) carried out a training and supervision mission of the project and financial management of the Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacovigilance Unit (UPC-PV), one of the institutions of the network base in Kinshasa, in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

This working session made it possible to improve the knowledge of local managers in terms of the technical and financial requirements of the EDCTP; to identify possible solutions to the various obstacles and difficulties that hinders the smooth running of activities in the DRC and to draw up an initial assessment of the activities carried out by the UPC-PV, to facilitate the reporting of the first-year project cycle of CANTAM-3

Regular monitoring will be done between the different parties to adopt the actions decided by the coordination site (FCRM) and UPC-PV.
